If so, why do you think that?
we were since the day someone said man and woman were equal and some people agreed, from that day on, manhood was doomed, we got tamed like wolves got tamed by humans, before we were hunters and our power give us the opportunity survive and reproduce, we didn't made fools out of ourselves or bend our necks for fulfilling our needs, we fought, we bleed and we hunted but then they labelled us misogynysts, incels, insecure, uneducated, feeble etc etc and put leashes of societal expectations on us, now we work like house pets and accept the infernal treats we are offered if we keep our low life owners and if we complain or try to free ourselves we are ''biting the hand that feeds us'' they think our current society is better than before, we work for peace and acceptance for all, equality and such shit, let me tell you, peace is for pussies, a man who believes in eqaulity is decreasing himself to something lesser than he is and this is straight up masochism and self-sabotage.
and now, our boys are raised to be not being mans, we are thought to be reject our inner proud beast and live like a perfectly obedient dog who loves his leash, but unlike dogs our lives didn't become easier in the slightest, i would have a strong but wild male society over like the pathetic excuse for males every time of everyday, remember high school? being the bully is always better than being the loser, let them call you vile, sociopathic, insecure or any other shit like that, at least you will be hated for what you are instead of being tolearated and used for something you are NOT.

1.4K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Of course. When I was 5 years old, if my dad was away from home I was literally called the "man of the house" and if something bad/scary happened my mom & sister would come to me for advice on what to do. They were training me to be responsible. It sounds crazy to those of you who grew up with mommy & daddy doing everything for you till you're 30 tho. In kindergarten I was running cross country through industrial parts of town. Nobody holding your hand and babying you.
The worst thing is that when you're weak you don't have to be responsible. You can always make excuses & play victim. You never have the weight of decisions on your shoulders, really. So someone like me had to learn self control. Today you have a lot of people who do whatever feels good & then runs to social media or the cops whining if there's a hint of the people they offend being about to get physical. When I was growing up people were way more respectful to each other and we didn't need censorship. You knew if you talked sh* to the wrong person they would punch you in the mouth & that you could punch others in the mouth too. Way less bs back then.

+1 yThat's disrespectful. I believe some favourable changes have occurred along with negative effects. Now they want women to have equal rights but some are letting women who already have equal rights (primarily in the West) to walk all over them.

+1 yYeah... I definitely think most modern men are pussies nowadays. But it's what society has done to us with the feminist movement. Men have been conditioned to be more emotional, take more shit from women, and we are not as relied on nowadays because women work jobs themselves where they can completely provide for themselves.
Back in the day a man could move out at 16, work a relatively lower paid job, have a place of his own and provide for a small family.
We are what built society back in the day. The industrial era was a prime time to be a man. Buildings and everything you see around you was built by men. They built the foundation and now all that's needed for the most part is maintenance. We've come to a place in society where you can literally never leave your house. You can work from home, order groceries online to be delivered and pay all your bills online.
There are more women graduating from universities than men and getting jobs at an earlier age than men on average.
So it has really displaced men in the sense that we've lost our understanding of our role. It used to be to provide and protect in simpler times where technology wasn't everywhere to make tasks easy. We no longer live in those times and aren't needed to "man up" as much.30 Reply 1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I would say because many guys live the easy life. They let their food delivered, they don´t do anything challenging and they spend most of their time in front of a screen. The problem is that guys nowadays have many options to avoid doing anything hard so they don´t.

That´s your experience. I had different ones and it´s ok that there is not the one reason. I can´t say I was taught not to be a man but I grew up in an environment were there has always been an easy way out and there has been always a broader easy way so there have been few challenges for guys to become a man.
The problem isn´t just the way a boy is raised but also the way he lives his life and modern society allows men to be lazy.
I would say yes. They hired a guy to be my manager he was 25. And that dude looked so confused when I’d talk about my hobbies or everyday day life I’d chopping wood, hunting fishing 4x4 and shooting and building stuff with my hands. They just look lost and are indoctrinated. Programmed to play video games and write code but avoid the outdoors. And damn if their car or boyfriend I’m sorry gf’s car breaks down they probably couldn’t even open the hood.

+1 yThey haven't been taught how to be men. Being raised by single mothers creates a huge deficiency for boys.
Women cannot teach boys how to be men.

+1 yNot necessarily, but definitely softer in comparison to the past.. A lot of us just lack purpose and got too used to the convenience of society nowadays.. Comfortable times makes men softer and women wanna go harder..

+1 yYes, mainly because life has never been easier so we don’t really need to be strong, only if we choose to be because we want to be.

I get a bit confused when I hear men make this point. Did you guys enjoy the wars and depression? Did it make you feel like you had a purpose? I'm pretty sure the men who suffered through them would've rathered life today though lol

@wiltingrosepetal Depends on the guy but the vast majority of guys back then were tough so they didn't sit around whining, crying, complaining or trying to act like women & get a pat on the back from some woman telling him he needs to be more emotional. Guys were raised to be tough from day 1. When I was a little boy, I did not have the option of being a weakling... of being scared or of complaining about anything. A guy quickly learns to control his emotions (at least when it comes to some things... some guys have more control than others). Guys are better the way they used to be raised because a man without self control is more of a danger than a woman without self control. A man can kill you with 1 hand tied behind his back & half trying.

@wiltingrosepetal Point is that asking if guys "enjoyed" wars or depression is a pointless question. It's like asking a guy if he enjoyed saving up money to buy a house or if he enjoyed spending a year building a car... or a month building a piece of furniture. The answer doesn't matter. What matters is the end result.

I don't understand why a man should be considered a pussy, I read certain comments by women in this question, they are really ridiculous.
