No.
I believe the spectrum of society have just evolved. The core of the society is different. The roles are varied and the lifestyle have changed. It's just a different world.
I would compare this to the claim where numerous people suggest that humans today are weaker in terms of immune system. The fact is that is not true. What happened is that our environment and our body's function have evolved. The difference comes from there.
This is the same in terms of social categories and gender roles; attributions and traits. It's not the same world so people can't and won't behave the same way. The definition and what's been expected have evolved.
Masculinity majorly was defined by physical characteristics. But biologically; women look into many other factors. Such as; Personality and financial stability; position and status. The spectrum of other elements have expanded today. You don't have to be over six feet tall; super bulk with severe fitness level to attract females and be considered masculine. You can have a short stature but have personality traits of a masculine male. Use your brain to gain power and obtain position; status and financial stability. Masculinity defines in a wide spectrum and today; it's most personality and behavioral functions rather than physicality. Mind the fact that for example despite women are yet linked to be hungry for financial stability in a men. The desire is less nowadays because women can establish their own financial stability and don't see a need to rely on men for that. Also; the definition of masculinity can be subjective too. So it depends who define it and how they observe it.
Good Luck.

Yes! All men of this era are far from even the idea of what masculinity was just a generation ago. All due to people being so hurt and offended by everyone else and everyone of today even the guys are super needy for attention.
The idea of a Masculine Man is either dead to this generation or is mostly looked down on by this generation.
Masculinity is a social construct that means different things in different eras and or cultures. At one point in time wearing high heels was considered the height of masculinity. If you want more recent examples and watch some old Hollywood movies from the 40s. They are full of flashy flamboyant men who were considered the peek of masculinity at the time. Heck look at Elvis. If dude was young today he'd be constantly battling rumours on his sexuality. But, back in the day men aspired to be him and women wanted to be with him.
In a way, yes. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that our society is so industrialized now.
100-200 years ago, most men would have made a living by doing physical labor. While some men still do that today, a lot of people now work at a desk or standing in one spot all day.
Also, more processed food exists now than there used to be, which certainly plays a huge role in today's body types, both male and female.
I can't really say since I wasn't around before "these days" or too young to have remembered anything. But I really like the men in this generation, I am fine with masculinity but please don't hide your emotions and feelings to be "masculine". Think for yourself 😊
No. There have always been all different kinds of men - scientists, artists, writers, workers, philosophers, healers, builders, farmers, etc.
If everyone was a hyper-aggressive warrior, we’d have all died out by now.

Definition of masculinity has just shifted, because the society has changed. Parts of it are more universal. Society has changed, and when one would like to live in the 1800s and stick to archaic definitions, then yes the modern male population could be less masculine. But that's archaic, so I'll go with no. Men haven't become less masculine, the very definition of masculinity is just different.
Thanks to the overwhelming destruction of feminism and the female hive-mind.. males have been backed into a corner and made to fear all things naturally male. Therefore most males have become some mangina hybrid bitch breed. Doing everything they can to make themselves look good in the eyes of the beast.
I personally don't have time for that shit. Men need to fight back and take back our world.Interesting fact I heard on a tv show in this country, women go for less masculine men than they used to because the contraceptive pill has changed the hormone balance making more feminine men more attractive. True story
Yep, been told i was like a girl before, kinda hurt.
Some men seem very feminine but that doesn't bothered me but there are still a few masculine men about 30-40 probably.
Not in general. But some are dashing. While some are not. There are two sides for every coin, which side do you wanna be?
definitely because you would have probably been in a firing squad if you acted feminine.
In a way, yes. But more like the whole chivalry being dead makes them look less masculine. To me at least
definitely. pretty sure the romans were more masculine than we'll ever be.
Some dudes are straight pansies.
Spilling over their emotions and shit.Yes, but society approves. So we have to deal with it
I am nowhere near "masculine". However, I will not pay for your hospital bills if you mess with the people I love.
What are "masculine" traits?
Yes older men seem more masculine to me.
Only the ones that ask questions like this.
Yeah and women are less feminine
