Guys, is he interested or fooling around?

There’s a guy that I noticed at church for sometime. Today, I left church early and heard fast footsteps behind me of someone saying ‘excuse me’. He approaches makes brief conversation of me leaving early and introduces himself. We’re having conversation and he asks to walk me and if he can walk me to my car. I agreed.

As we’re deep in conversation he says can he have my number and so can continue our conversation. I referred to Instagram because we just met. He mentions it’s an inactive but follows anyway. We reach my car and he asks if he can hold my door open for me to let me inside my car and I agreed. Closes my door and tells me to drive safe.

He follows me back on Instagram ; however, hours passed and no message?

Lol I assumed he was just being a gentlemen but messaging me since he asked to further the conversation would show me he meant what he said.

Why would he message you when you really haven’t shown any interest back?

It’s so early on and I’m not sure what interest is until he fully communicates that to me. Who knows, this could be his same move on any woman he finds attractive.

I think he probably just doesn't want to be perceived as stalking you. That's why he's being cautious and moving slowly.

I took your advice. Didn’t see him this Sunday but I decided to message him on insta to play it cool and say I didn’t see him today. Conversation is going and he brings up his singleness mid convo and the conversation continues and came to a finish. However, all day he hasn’t message good morning or anything.

The conversation happened yesterday and today.. no good morning of nothing. It’s like playing Tetris trying to figure out if this guy is interested.

That’s true. I have anxiety so sometimes it sends me off the edge.

He was telling me about his agenda for the day to prepare for the week and said singles man life.

Then I said “oh really” and he says yea it’s a hard life.

That’s the confusing part. If he’s interested why not just lead the way instead of hints and signs and all these different stuff. I’m used to a guy being interested he’ll text good morning and try to start some conversation
