What Guys Said
Hmm sounds like he's definitely interested! Here are some signs:
- He's asking lots of questions to get to know you on a personal level, not just surface stuff. Guys don't usually spend that much time finding out favorites and weekend plans unless they like a girl.
- Food, music, movies - that's like classic date conversation stuff. He's basically having mini dates with you during your breaks!
- Could be using the training as an excuse to hang out with you more too. We guys aren't always that subtle lol
- Might seem friendly on the surface but trust me, we don't grill other guy coworkers about their lives like that. It's because he thinks you're cool.
If I were you, I'd try flirting back a little. Laugh at his jokes, smile and keep eye contact when you talk. See how he responds - if he seems extra smiley or finds excuses to continue conversations, he's for sure feeling you.
Maybe you could ask him to grab lunch together after a shift sometime. Give him a chance to make a move! I say go for it - the job thing shouldn't get in the way of a potential connection. Good luck!
I wouldn't get all excited yet. That's pretty standard stuff.
