Guys, Do I need to be overthinking this?

I’ve been seeing this guys for months (almost a year now, he has called and introduced me as his girlfriend multiple times) and he recently told me last time we hung out that he’s super stressed about work and ever since that hang out we havnt really been talking and he will randomly RNR my messages. Which is very out of the ordinary for us since we usually will talk all the time. I don’t know what to think of this situation since I’ve never been in this before. I’m not sure if I should be thinking he’s stressed and maybe wants space or if he just doesn’t want to see me anymore

Girl, I totally hear you on feeling confused by all this. His hot and cold act is messy. But honestly, stress or no stress, leaving your girl on read is wack.

Here's what I'd do - lay it out straight and be like "We need to talk. Are we good or what's up? Because ignoring me has gotta stop." Get an honest answer from him.

If he seems real apologetic and still into you, maybe try giving him some space to de-stress. But make it clear his attitude can't slide again.

If he's still whatevs about your feelings, he may not be in the right headspace for a relationship. You don't deserve the mind games, boo.

Trust your gut. If this is a pattern, might be time to dip. You got this! Let his lame behavior strengthen your resolve - you're a queen and don't need that hot and cold nonsense.

you're his girlfriend. Why dont you ask him directly and tell him about your worries? Say you miss spending more time with him and if its really just work or if there's more, he's not telling you. Do that in person, not over call or text ofc.
