What is it with this guys and their knight in shinning armor behavior?

for my first question here i need to ask this because it really started to get absurd.

whenever iam talking about male and female relationships and my outlook on woman and mans in general, guys gets much more defensive than woman, i could understand it if it was them i was bad mouthing but it is generally me telling girls off for their behaviors and ideas but strangely it is guys who gets defensive and attacks me and funnier thing, i generally get positive attituted from girls even though i am purposefully not covering anything and straight up being an asshole and this strangely takes postive reactions from girls, at worst they are just having a debate with me in our cases but guys acts like it is them i am talking bad

example: i am talking about how being jealous and possesive of your partner especially as a male is a normal natural thing, or me not liking a girls body count girls either agrees with me or at least questions me and why i am thinking this way and when i make my point they either actually sees my point and agree or makes their own point but they are still open to my point too, with guys i am immediately an insecure misogynyst.

I strongly suspect the notion of the classic gentleman is widely misunderstood nowadays. The "man" part is the more critical part of the equation, not the "gentle" part; it's what makes the difference between a benevolent leader vs. an asskissing follower.

Take the image of a man putting a jacket around his date when it's cold. Whether he's demonstrating the qualities of a protector or a servant depends on who's leading. If the woman is leading and the man is following her lead, then he quickly starts to resemble her personal servant and professional asskisser. If the man is leading and the woman is following his lead, then this gesture begins to resemble that of the strong and benevolent lord if we continue using metaphors from feudal Europe.

So I think there are many young men these days, and even men my age who weren't raised by proper father figures, who conceive themselves "gentle" for being followers of women, and not leaders of women. And that usually turns off women left and right because followers of women aren't actually in a position to properly protect women and make them feel safe.

Even the complete asshole who demonstrates leadership qualities can make a woman feel safer to choose than a spineless asskisser with no leadership qualities at all, in the same sense that forming an alliance with a tyrannical dictator offers more protection than allying with his asskissing servant.

But I think a lot of young men these days are confused about what it means to be a man, and many are raised by men of previous generations equally confused, or even completely absent a father entirely. Then I think the two most popular archetypes that emerge are the assholes and the asskissers. The assholes figure out how to instinctively attract women with some leadership qualities, but they lack the ethical foundations to become the most responsible leaders. The asskissers follow women around, probably raised mostly by women, and agree with everything they say hoping that will score points. What's working towards extinction is the true gentleman: the "good man" and not the "nice guy".

A bit continued on why followers of women will never make them feel safe: I had this disagreement before with a man who favored submitting to women and letting women be in charge. He made the interesting argument that a personal bodyguard who is strong and capable can still make a leader feel safe.

And I lacked a response at the time since I had to mull over it a lot, but I now think that's wrong. Bodyguards, provided they are strong and capable, can make leaders feel "safer" but not "safe". The most important leader is always in the greatest position of danger with the greatest burdens of responsibility that they need bodyguards to even feel remotely safe, but only because they are in so much danger and have so much responsibility that they need that burden eased by loyal followers.

So even a man who behaves like a loyal bodyguard to his girlfriend or wife while still dumping the leadership burden on her will never make her feel as safe as a man who takes charge and completely alleviates that danger and responsibility of being the leader from her.

It's probably them trying to score simp points, and get the girls to know that they are on their side especially if they find them attractive.. Men naturally prefer the company of women to other men and online is just even more of a reflection of that.. Unfortunately it leads to White knights behavior.
