Guys, My boyfriend hasn't been very sexual the last 3-4 months we've been together, from a guys pov what's could be the issue?

We got together almost a year ago. We used to be able to have sex about every week, which dwindled to every two weeks to once a month to none at all. I've tried talking to him about it but it's always something different that he comes up with. I really don't want to be that person that leaves because of a difference in sex drive but I can't help but think that it's not what he says it is. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
