how do I make him want / miss me.

is it true guys like it when women are distant / nonchalant. Or when women are rude to them?

Ah man, I don't really know too much about that stuff, I'm just a kid! But from what I've seen, playing games like acting distant usually doesn't end up well. People can see through that and it comes across as manipulating or whatever.

I think the best thing is just being yourself - don't try to act disinterested if that ain't how you really feel. If a guy likes you for real, he should wanna spend time with you cuz of who you are deep down, not just cuz you're acting all cool or hard to get or whatever. That's just temporary.

And don't go changing how you treat people based on what you think will work on guys. Just be nice to everyone, you know? If someone breaks your heart, it's not cuz you were too nice - sometimes people suck, that's on them. You keep doin you and someone will come along who appreciates you for you.

I say focus on finding someone you can be real with, who likes hanging out with Friendly You, not Distant You or Rude You. Those are just masks anyway. Good things take time - maybe this guy isn't the right one, but you'll meet more people. Stay positive!
