Why are many men so hostile to me?

Of course not every man but many men who are quite social with all kinds of people dislike me from the very start, make a berth around me, give me attitude, gossip about me behind my back, try to bully me by openly making fun of me or just in general act passive aggressive and then complain about me being quiet and not socializing with them.

All of them are 25 years old and above, many in their 40s, married with kids so I don’t understand why they act so immature towards me. I am polite, I’m not terribly dumb, I don’t bother people, I dress well and take care of my appearance. So what about me causes this kind of reaction?

"Everyone thinks I’m a bitch." I don't think you are being honest and I think you might be someone who is not really fully aware of how you look and how you act. You might be a total bitch. I would have to hang out with you for a weeks and if that's true, I could show you. However, like another guy said here, if you are a nice and quiet person, and dress modestly, people are going to naturally think you are weak. It's Evolution 101. Actions and appearances matter to every animal's subconscious. Fear is VERY important and all animals respond to it. I know, it's sad. It's a sick sad world. Sorry. For example, when I had a clean shaven face and boyish hair and I was nicer. People were just absolutely cruel. Then I shaved my head, grew a beard, and stopped smiling, stopped bending over for people, just started death staring them. All of a sudden, people were so helpful all of a sudden, people had options, respected my space, etc. Image is extremely important. That's why tough guys get respect and hot women have dudes doing anything for them. Image. Desire. Fear. Sorry. Sad, but true.

I faced this before for so many years. I don't know what being treated kind look like. But it's the way it is. Guys in general take advantage of that m. Specifically the extroverted type. If I had the guess you're attractive girl who's not super social, probably more introverted if I had to guess. And certain people don't like that. They want you to be outgoing and talk to them and when you don't they decide it's rude.
