So do you think this means that he does want me in his life?

so my male friend likes me and he said this to me. Do you think by his response he was saying that he does want me in his lif?
Him: I want to keep my mind focused on the most high and on nothing else. I don't care what it is and its not because its not time it's because i dont want to.
Me: ( I asked him a question a 2 weeks ago and he said he would eventually answer it.) So that means you don't want me in your life like that then"
Him:( After I bring the question back to his remembrance he said) "Well no that doesn't answer your question because that had nothing to do with what I was talking about".
So do you think this means that he does want me in his life?
