ok so there is this guy friend we were supposed to go take an ice cream tomorrow but since im really sick i told him i will cancel our hanging. He replied ''oh no we will miss our valentine day hanging'' so i answered that i forgot that i needed to buy some valentine plush to my girlfriends (we are all singles so we decided to buy some valentine plushes and candies between us hihi) and asked him if he thinks there will be some left on Friday so i can buy but he didn't answer... usually he answers fast like a cheetah! is he mad? did he declare to me? ladies and gentlemen i need your answers !

I mean is he upset about it? Probably not unless he's prone to throwing fits. Is he disappointed you're not going with him on valentines day, that could be the case. I dont know what you mean by this declaring thing but just be patient I'm sure everything will be fine. Dont look too much into it. Perhaps he has to do something.

He could be into you but you not clarifying that you're not into him and definitely going out with him, even if it's as innocent as icecream, doesn't help. Because maybe to you it's nothing but to him, it could mean more. You're just building his hopes up

I dont know if it annoyed him, but if he does like you, hypothetically. It could've disappointed him. I mean put yourself in his shoes. If you liked someone and they canceled on you, on VALENTINES day🤔 how would that make you feel? Maybe you aren't mad at them, but just a little disappointed you know

You're going to have to tell him you're not into him like that eventually, or show obvious signs you're not.

I really forgot about Valentine’s Day and I canceled because I’m sick for real so I didn’t want him to get my shit since he is traveling this Friday. And yes I’m clueless that’s why I’m asking no need to be mad geez. The declaration I’m talking about is that this guy is my friend. I’ve never wanted to be friend with males but it happened and since I’m not popular with guys I gave it a try. I tought he only liked me as a friend but each time people would see him with me they would tell me he is in awe around me but he never said anything…so yes I’m clueless and I have a really hard time trying to make him understand but I feel he is obsessed with me.. I won’t have choice to tell him

Okay, you essentially blew him off by cancelling. How would that make you feel? I'm not sure I believe that you forgot Valentine's Day. You would be the first I've ever known to do that, but that doesn't matter. I read some other comments and you should forget about this declaration stuff. There is no reason that you have to wait for him to declare so you can set the record straight. The right thing to do is tell him ASAP what is happening and tell him you only want to be friends. You need to do this in person. Don't chicken out and do it by text.

i get your point about cancelling but im really sick for real i dont know what else i was supposed to do? im not going to pass out in front of him. About valentines day, I've always been single since im born so yes i really forgot about it ( im the kind of person who thinks love has to be celebrate each day ) Thanks for advices.. im a big chicken now but i will try to transform into a roaster :)
