A coworker likes to wait in his car to make sure im in mine, and turns it on. What does this mean?

A guy coworker makes sure I'm out to my car before he leaves, even tho I had other people leave at the same time as I did, I wasn't alone. But he'll leave as soon as I start my car (everyone else has Left by now and I'm just checking messages and relaxing) I know he's being kind but still a girl must think lol
