Is this guy hinting he likes me?

1. He gives constant messages and keeps wanting to know about my life updates. He never misses to message me even if i dont initiate it. When I tried to deactivate my account, he sent me a message on a different app instead.

2. Whenever I reactivate, he messages on same day and says I'm again on messenger. It's as if he's always watching my social media account
3. He got sensitive about me joking about dying and said it was not a good thing to say. I thought we'd laugh it off like before
4. He is consistent in doctoring me around and trying to help me with my sickness
5. He is really sweet with his messages sometimes
6. He sends photos of himself

I thought he had problems to vent whenever he contacts me but im surprise that he just wants to know my life updates weekly. I am beginning to be suspicious about it.

Hmm it does seem like there could be a good chance this guy likes you more than as just a friend. A few things that make me think that:

- The way he keeps contacting you even when you're not active on social media shows he's really interested in staying connected with you. Guys usually don't put that much effort into staying in touch with a girl they're just friends with.

- That he got sensitive when you joked about dying and said it wasn't good to say - that shows he cares about your wellbeing. Friends might laugh it off but he seemed genuinely concerned.

- Continuously checking in on you when you're sick and trying to help also points to more than just friendly feelings.

- Sending photos of himself unprompted could be his way of trying to show he's thinking of you and wants you to think of him too.

- On top of always keeping up with what's new in your life - those are things more suited to someone interested in you romantically rather than just platonically.

Of course there's no way to know for 100% sure how he feels without asking, but all the signs definitely seem to hint that he may see you as more than a friend. If you're interested in him too, you could always try flirting a little back and see how he responds before deciding anything for sure!

1. He is genuinely being nice, kind, caring and is concerned about your well being.

2. He might actually like you so he is doing things that I mentioned in point 1.
