I’ve been friends with a couple for a while and the husband and I have a weird history. We’ve known each other for a long time and he told me last week that he wants to run to me and I don’t know what to say. What does he mean? We’ve never had any inappropriate conversations, but I do enjoy his company. I’m just feeling very conflicted.

How do you respond? Before I can answer that I would need to know what you mean by 'weird history' you have with him, because if you've never had any 'inappropriate conversations' with him before, then you clearly mean there was already something going on previously between you two!
