Who's more starved of appreciation: old women or young men?

I expect it to be similar if we look at the society trend that men get more appreciation as they get older and more experienced (Up to a certain point where it declines again). And women start high on their sex appeal but decline.

But where the difference will really manifest is in the individual cases, men are appreciation starved if they at their younger age aren't the noticeable status guys of their class. If you are more nerdy or shy you will really feel this one. Girls are noticed much more easily, although very shy and unattractive girls will feel it just as much.

But, later on in life we expect these people to be established. You expect the older woman to have a husband or boyfriend who gives her plenty of appreciation every day, she will also be appreciated by her children.

So I think the real group that is hit hard by this is the social outcasts regardless of age. Single's who aren't in that mainstream desirability. And I don't think that is a gendered thing. It just happens for different reasons, but often having to do with attractiveness.

This is not a gender question.

I do think women seek the most attention. But attention is not love. And most women who seek attention frankly have no concept of love. Love is not sex, love is not attention,

Men are kind of conditioned to do without love. Men a raised from birth to understand your only worth to society is what you can produce.

But as I say none of these have to do with love. Love is not transactional. Love is given freely.
