If a guy lets a girl who is not his girlfriend use his phone?

He is the boss of my part time job, and he is around my age. Today, he passed his phone to me, gave me his password and told me to look out for customers' messages for him. I know it is for work, but it is his personal phone which he uses for personal stuff too. Is it just me or is this too trusting of him?

Some people are quite cavalier about trusting other people. And this was in the workplace. So if you abused his trust he could fire you if he wanted.

It’s a surprise because most people aren’t that trusting. I wouldn’t be comfortable giving someone the logins to my phone and I bet you wouldn’t either. But some people are less paranoid.

Personally I wouldn’t overthink it. It’s not like he was hitting on your or something.

Ah this is sad that 1) he’s your boss 2) he’s taken 3) it’s a combination of 1 & 2 that gets you all hot and bothered.

Tread carefully here. Ask yourself if you would have felt attracted to him if he was single and not your boss. Ponder that very hard.

You’re not exactly 21 anymore. You should know that men with authority and/or already taken men shouldn’t be a contributor to their attractiveness.

However it sadly is for a lot of women. Don’t deny that. But at a certain age both men and women should have better control on their “push” buttons if it’s inappropriate.

No matter from which point I think of, this doesn't seem professional at all especially if as u said it's both the work and personal phone. Since he's around ur age too, perhaps this is his way of showing how much he trusts you.

Since it's the first time observe more such behaviour you'll know if he's just too chill with you and means strictly business or mayb there's something more goin on in his head

I would only hand my personal phone if I really trusted that the person wouldn't sneak into my pictures or messages or anything really. Seems like he trusts you enough and thinks you're professional.

Why does he use his personal phone as his work phone? Thats doesn't seem very practical, customers calling all the time would make normal calls with friends nearly impossible.
