Is it insecure if a guy grabs his girl’s phone out of her hand and calls the number that texted her a simple question?

For context a girl I ONCE talked to, randomly disappeared off my IG.


So I asked sent her a text asking “hey are you ok?”


Literally within 20 seconds her number calls me, I knew exactly what was going on, her boyfriend was next to her and saw the text and ripped the phone out of her hand and called me. So to not put her in that awkward situation I didn’t answer…


Turns out he saw my IG and our previous messages and decided to remove me from her following and followers list. And it was confirmed by her because she recently followed me again and told me what happened.

If i were that dude would have just let it play out and not ask questions or think about it - carry on with daily life unaffected. In life you can never prevent someday from cheating if it happens it happens. And I doubt she was even cheating

but she could have been flirting or liking the attention from other man and it could not have been the first time, maybe she has a history. It's still insecurity because you don't have to deal with it, but he decides to stay.

Well I don't know the whole details but I know he was behind calling me after the text was sent to her phone as well as he removing me from her IG.

Which is why after she left the last message in our conversation on read I never sent another message. And she did apologize for the guy’s behavior

What do you mean? I was communicating clearly why I was confused, nothing else. Then simply told her that for the sake of their relationship he should realize that snapping like that was a bit extreme.

He spammed me saying “who are you?” “Who tf are you?”

I then said “my bad, I didn’t know you had a boyfriend.”

And he then sent another message saying “did we ever hang out?”

True. Tbh I’m the type of guy that doesn’t mess with women that are taken. Since I didn’t know what happened that’s the only reason why I reached out. If I knew she was in a relationship I would’ve never messaged her.

But yeah to add to your point, many modern women also have secret relationships. Which most men would actually never talk too if they knew they were in a relationship, hence why when a girl reveals she’s in a relationship she’ll get less likes afterwards when posting selfies since a good amount of us guys know “what goes around, comes around”
