If your partner was on here and you didn't know do you think you'd be able to recognise them just by their writing style? And what makes it recognisable to you?
My wife has lovely handwriting (aka cursive as they called it in most of the USA, aka "script" as they called it when I was a kid). Could I recognize hers? Probably not. Long ago, we were all taught cursive so the good ones like my wife and father do a beautiful job that is hard to distinguish.
I always did a shitty job that just got worse. I don't even do it anymore.
HOWEVER, I print. When I was in the 9th Grade in 1977-1978, I took a class in drafting and the first things they teach you about drafting is all about pencils and lettering - how to print all the characters that would be on blueprints. This has affected me the rest of my life and, yes, most people will know its me because I can print like a machine and can be meticulous about it because that was forced on us in that drafting class. I was sort of like US Marine Boot Camp for lettering and pencil skills. Even if I go to the Post Office with a letter I just addressed, the postal worker (if he or she doesn't already know me) will comment on my lettering on my addressing; I do my addressing so that the OCR (optical character recognition) system will have no problem with my address, which includes the full ZIP+4, which ensures that my letter gets to its destination as quickly as possible.
So, in short, no, I would not necessarily recognize my wife's handwriting, but she would likely recognize mine since no one else she knows does what I do.

Absolutely, I believe I could! Each person has a unique writing style that's just as distinctive as their voice. With my wife, it's all about the choice of words and those little expressions only she would use. It's like how she can pack a whole universe of meaning into a simple "hmm." Plus, she has this adorable habit of sneaking in references to our inside jokes or things we've experienced together. Those breadcrumbs would definitely lead me straight to her. It's all about picking up on those little nuances, kind of like how I pick up on relationship dynamics. Spotting my significant other in a sea of text? Challenge accepted! 😄✍️
