Is there a point you feel too old to be dealing with relationships dramas?

These are typical dramas found among relationships:

"My boyfriend/girlfriend keeps checking my cell much and accuses me of cheating when I never gave a reason to be distrusted, why".

"They keep arguing over the same things over and over and I get given the silent treatment".

"Why won't he day he loves me every, day, why, doesn't he loves me".

"He/she gets upset if I don't take to every single party I have".

I'm 37 and will obviously dump by now if I had to deal with worthless, juvenile nonsense. Is there a point you feel too old to be dealing with drama in the dating stage? You guys are just boyfriend and girlfriend without any real obligation and already dealing with BS.

Because the only way a relationship lasts? is if both partners choose not to be selfish. Selfishness is one of the number 1 relationship killers , if you can’t remove selfishness for your partner? , do not expect them to remove it for you. You are no longer single , you chose your partner the same way they chose you , your partner should be your top priority over everyone else in this world , if your partner is not your top priority? Your relationship will start spiraling downwards and you will eventually be back to being single again. Wear your partners shoes before making decisions, Just because you think something is ok , it might not be ok for your partner , Think how you would feel if the tables were turned? If you only care about what’s best for yourself? You are sadly a selfish person , that only cares about yourself

Yes… and it’s tiring. It’s like people on this website ask questions to get the answer they wanna hear. A lot of relationship drama is simply low IQ. A lot of the time people are also projecting. Cheaters love accusing the other of cheating. Abusers love accusing the other of abuse. The list goes on.

I think age is a factor or to phrase it more specifically its experience which generally comes with age. I would say however that it would seem that some people “crave” drama by deliberate action or inaction , or that they are just shitty human beings that aren’t good single and should never be in a relationship until they learn to be a better person.
Like any repetition though , it just becomes tiresome or traumatic and we grow weary of it. Our experience rightly or wrongly guides us in seeing typical behaviors early on and we automatically go into self preservation mode and act to remove or effect change. Sure this can make us hard to be with too in some respects but we are battle worn , that’s how it works. What’s important though is that we truly know ourselves , our failings and our strengths.

IIs there an age where you are too old for relationship drama? I think no. The drama is what makes you feel alive. It's how you express love even when it seems negative. There'll be plenty of time without drama later. Enjoy it while you still can.

I think the second question is is there any point in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship if it's not going to turn into a permanent obligated commitment?

These are not relationship dramas they are immature problems that dont get sorted because people don't communicate properly inside of a relationship in my 7 year relationship I'm yet to have any of these pop up

I haven't been dealing with that for the longest. Those were just general examples that younger people tend to put up with. That's too much drama for just dating someone and not even having kids with them. There is absolutely nothing (besides invested feeling) bonding you to them.
