Are good relationships more of a fantasy as you get older?

Seems like when you're young and dumb, love and relationships are great. Expectations are low, and every new day is an adventure.

Fast-forward into you middle age times, divorces are common, people are burnt and jaded. People are getting married for all the wrong reasons, if just not to be single.

Then as you age, everyone is cautious. No one moves real fast. Seems like most people have baggage they don't even understand.

A person longs for the good ole days, but fears tomorrow. Kind of like each succeeding birthday after 50, 60 and 70.
