Why do people never know someone’s cheating?

Like…. Most the time when someone first cheats. Things seem great. It’s usually much later on in the relationship where they will begin to loathe their partner after cheating. They aren’t happy anymore.

Because some marriages and relationships seemed great. To find out one person or the other was cheating the whole time.

Sadly because some people just don’t want to believe their partner is cheating on them period , hoping everything is ok between them , because they choose to trust over not to trust. Basically what they don’t see, never exists to them. Most people choose to love the same way they want to be loved in return , if they are in a relationship with a cheater? The cheater is the POS and more than likely they will suffer the consequences of their actions , once the truth shines and it’s just a matter of time before it does. Cheating is a selfish act , selfish people cheat, because they feel they do no wrong , they only think they are right at all times. They don’t not know how to love , because they only love themselves. We can’t stop anyone from cheating on us , if someone is going to cheat , they are going to cheat , if they want to go back to their partner and act like nothing happened and want to lie to their partners’ face that they actually love them? The cheater is in for a rude awakening for not being honest about their selfish actions. They are wasting their time being with someone they truly don’t love. When the non cheater finds out the truth , they are best to kick that POS to the curb where they belong and go find themselves someone that wouldn’t cheat on them period. Sadly this is the world we live in , why finding true love is hard to find

It’s an ego problem for the person being cheated on. Not say it’s fair at all to have that done to them. Of course it isn’t.

But knowing you got cheated on is acknowledging the insulting pain that the other person doesn’t find you good enough. It’s a nasty pill to swallow.

This comes down to people wanting to be happy go lucky vs. embracing the ugly truth.

I had no clue my husband was cheating on me until he didn't come home one night after work and didn't call.

I had just given birth to our son a few months before and Christmas was very near. I was so happy with our new baby and looking forward to Christmas together.
On December 2nd (year's ago) he abandoned my son and me.
My sister told me he had a girlfriend but didn't want to tell me.
I thought we were both still in love with each other. I had no idea until my sister told me and he left for good and never came back. He never paid child support either - ever!

So, not all of us have any clue we are being cheated on when the cheater acts the same as usual. No red flags went up. He hid it well.

Most people who don't see it fail to do so because they themselves would never do it, and cannot imagine that someone who claims devotion could do so. Basically they are naive to how many people are deceitful.

Who says they don't know? meany people do know. Relationships are not just relationships. They are also living arrangements. There might be children involved. People cheat thinking their partner has few choices in life. It's a form of abuse.

Cheaters can be the best liars. The partner usually finds out when they start to lean towards someone else/other people and want the relationship to end. Or witnesses share the info.
