I met this guy online online. We have known for a couple of months and I found he is easygoing and playful person. He likes to ask me do is there any guy I like or am interested in at university or during my internship. He also likes to respond to my ig and likes to tease me.

Today I posted a story of my guy friend in my ig story to congratulate him on his graduation and he asked me if he my boyfriend. What does it mean? Why is he asking if my guy friend is my boyfriend or not?

He is probing you to see what your status is. It is somewhat of a passive way of seeing if you are interested in him. If you say you aren't interested in any (other) guys right now that tells him that he has a shot. If Asking if that is your boyfriend is twofold. It is a bit of the thing I just mentioned and then also seeing if you have any interest in that particular guy. If he teases you that is a sign of flirting in most cases. Sounds to me like he has a thing for you and he is dipping his toes in the water instead of jumping in the deep end and just coming right out and saying it.

Maybe he's interested in you as more than a friend but doesn't want to cross any boundaries out of respect for your relationship with someone else.
