We can very deeply. We tend to express it a bit differently (ex: doctor vs. nurse), but at the end of the day, it's about taking care of each other.

For example, when I was a boy here in Japan, when a little boy fell and scraped his knee and started crying or complaining about it, there was generally a difference in how men and women typically showed love (although some overlap and crossover).

Typically a man who loved the little boy would say things like, "Stop whining, stop crying. If you going to whine and cry over such a little thing, what's going to happen when they have to amputate your leg in a war?" It's a tough type of love but it solves the root problem which is the boy's problem to take little problems too seriously.

Typically a woman who loved the boy would give him a hug and a band-aid and showed her love that way. That doesn't fix the root problem but it makes him feel better.

Both are showing love (they would ignore the boy otherwise) but in a very different way. The woman here giving hugs and band-aids is trying to alleviate the suffering of the boy with her nurturing (nurse) side. The man here is showing love by being a doctor, realizing the big problem isn't that he scraped his knee (that's going to heal, not a big deal), but that he's crying and whining about it. If a grown man cries and complains about scraping his knee, he's not going to be able to survive the real world as an adult. So the man is focusing on fixing that deeper problem rather than alleviating the symptoms of it.

The greatest people often have some blend of both nurse and doctor; that's the ideal and they can both nurture the symptoms and diagnosis and offer a solution to the root problem. But typically in my experience, men show love more like the metaphorical doctor and women more like the metaphorical nurse.

Yes. contrary to some belief that all guys just want to fuck and that's it. Some guys actually do fall in love and want a serious relationship as well. It just depends on the guy really.
