Why do men pop their pecs at women?

I was talking to my deacon and out of nowhere he pops his pecs. Is there a meaning or reason why people do this? I am really wondering why he did this.
This has happened multiple times by different people so I just am curious of why men do this.

Probably trying to impress but sometimes it becomes a bit reflexive for well-developed pecs to pop them a lot. They tend to spaz and twitch a bit especially after they're pumped. Just the slightest of arm movements can cause that in those cases.
