Because men are predators, always have and always will.

They are ruled by their testosterone and not in control of it. That is why women will always be preys, not partners or equals. Men will always consider women as objects and never as an equal.

Most men will sexualize women and when they have achieved what they want, they will dispose of them and move to the next victim.

That is about the only reason why a man will look, stare, gawk at a woman's back (and front of course). Not because she is intelligent, not because she has character or personality but only because she is a target.
