Maybe he didn't. It's so easy to read stuff into other peoples actions much harder to determine the truth of their motives.

Again thats hard to tell, depends on where you live. On the street I lived when I was younger, at home time from school often people would seem to be following me, I used to get paranoid and deliberately go off in a different direction to see if they where. They never followed me when I went an odd way, because they where just going home and happened to be behind me.

So, you might want to try that, if you think someones following you, take an alternate route and see if they also change their route.

If you find that happens, then yes, its stalker ish (or possibly a private detective).
