Guys, Why would he suddenly avoid me?

So there is a guy I've gotten to know over the last few months, he seems to be quite shy. I've admitted to liking him/having a crush. I got to hang out with him&few of his family member at a game one time, he would stare at me quite often, has been playing love songs around me etc., he also watches my snap stories, one day I even put on my snap story that once I have a crush on someone, I only like them/only guy I want, but even since then he has started to look at me a lot less often, been somewhat distant/avoident, but still plays love songs around me, had a big smile on his face when talking to me, but when our eyes would meet, he would look away right away. I did catch him looking at me a few times and stare at me from a distance, he also been copying my behaviour a little bit. I am feeling a bit confused as to what this all means, he still talks to me with a gentle, upbeat tone.

I acted very similarly around my crush, but I wasn't able to talk to her. I started overthinking everything, and could barely control myself when she was near. I did avoid her sometimes, because I didn't want to come across as creepy. This probably made her think I wasn't interested in her anymore, but it was the opposite.

Sounds like a whole lotta nothing. He has zero clue you have any interest because you've done nothing.
I don't get the whole 'playing love songs' thing? He carries a Bluetooth speaker around and cues up love songs when he sees you? So weird.
