There is major chemistry between the two of us, and we were joking about people’s newfound driving skills and me being a new driver. He then casually sneaks in that I should know that his number is up on that wall to text. JUST in case I needed someone to blame for jinxing me during my learning how to drive, and hitting an unnecessary curb or something … Was that an invite to text him sometime?

Definitely sounds like it was. Though, it is no indicator if that is particularly special 'just for you' there. Meaning he might just tell every pretty student that.
