Gosh. On one hand I feel so bad that you’re still struggling to this extent, but on the other hand I guess I’m just not quite sure what you were expecting to happen. Like if he did respond, I doubt it would’ve been anything open ended, probably just consolation, some sort of “no worries”. Nothing you could work with in order to get back at him in the first place. In any case, I just hope that now that this has happened, you can really close that door with him. Keep looking for a therapist even though there’s been obstacles, the right person is out there.

I don’t feel like he treated you bad, sounds like the worst he did was ghost rather than end things formally, which I think anyone would agree is avoidant and cold. I just don’t think you’d be happy with any way he ended things because ultimately you didn’t want him to do that.

I said it was avoidant and cold to ghost, but that’s not what you’re talking about. It’s his treatment of you as a whole that you feel was “so bad”. You’ve accumulated the comments he made during the date and prior to ultimately say he was disrespectful and horrible, but I don’t feel like that was the case. It’s just very blown out of proportion for a 2 week talking phase that didn’t work out.

His overall treatment hasn’t been the best… and it’s not necessarily certain words said but actions and feelings.. feelings of anxiousness, lack of reassurance …feeling like a carrot is dangling over my head
