He asked me if I wanted to hang out after class at the park, McDonald's, or Chipotle? It made me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. I told him no and when I went to talk to him on Monday he shooed me away.

You are probably right considering how he treated you when you saw him on Monday. , so you did the right thing by saying No to him , if he only wanted to be your friend , he wouldn’t of acted like he did , when he saw you on Monday. Most guys’ and girls’ sadly can’t just be friends , it’s just the way it goes , the only way a guy and girl can just be friends, is if there is no attraction what so ever between them. So he proved it to you, by getting upset, that you said No to him. Look at this as a lesson learned in life , Guys’ and Girls’ do this shit more than we like to think , it’s just how it goes sadly. My brother said he wanted to hook up. I honestly don't know because I texted him why he wanted to hang out he said I don't know just to hang. We were acquaintances that would talk sometimes and he came up and sat near me and we talked for two hours and I helped him study.
