My guy friend wants to hang out, just the two of us?

I can't tell if he likes me or not. I'm interested in him. We usually text all night and though it's not really flirting, he has told me I'm cute and he's even said he wanted to live with me once we graduate. In real life we don't really flirt, we kind of tease each other and call each other ugly, etc. He can be really touchy. He throws me off though because sometimes we'll talk about each others crushes. He'll also tell me how badly he wants a girlfriend and stuff like that.

He has other friends that our girls but he only invited me to hang out with him, do you think he's gonna try anything with me or if he likes me?

Anyways I would say that by saying that " he wants a girlfriend really bad" means he is letting you know that he really wants to be with someone and as you said out of his other 'girl' friends he chose you to hangout with him can be a sign that he likes and would like to know you better. As always before committing yourself, see this as a chance of knowing him better and try spend more time with him ask him out directly if you have chance that whether he likes you or not because a guy would like it to be known directly whether a girl likes him or not because then he will take s step further and let you know that how much he likes you too. It's hard to catch a hint for guys given to them by girls and trust me this is the most frustrating and painful thing for a guy to be uncertain about whether a girl likes him or not.
