Putting a wife first is what you're supposed to do. The bond however between a mum and her kids, bearing in mind she carried them for 9 months is slightly different and does have to be taken in to consideration!

A real relationship works both ways. Kids come first for both parents. I’m sorry the kids cannot live on their own they’re children. If you divorce it may be hard but you’ll both survive. The kids literally can’t without you. Your money the kids being fed comes before luxuries.

The wife and husband are supposed to put one another before themselves. In practice as many narcissists are out there. Be careful who you marry boys and girls. You can spend your whole life putting some unfreatdul narcissistic piece of shit before yourself. To become drained and miserable a decade or decades later before the marriage fails.

I think I put the kids first too. Because the kids need 100% from a parent especially these days. Were a parent (mom or dad) can survive ok without the other. Not that they would want to... Kids need a mom and dad.
