Why do guys dislike girls with glasses?

Question

Sometimes for some people it's necessary and they can't wear contacts. Why do guys tell girls they should stop wearing glasses and that they're not attractive?

First of all, those guys should mind their own business telling others what to do. Second of all, that’s a turn off if people tell others they don’t look attractive if they’re wearing this or that. If you got nothing nice to say, stfu. Thirdly, people can’t help it if their vision is bad without their glasses so don’t mind those idiots telling you you’re unattractive with them on. There are a lot more others who think it’s a turn on.

Some guys actually like glasses and think they're cute. I've had to wear glasses almost my entire life. I could never put a contact in my eye when we did the practice and honestly, I don't think I will. After all of the horrors I hear of having contacts, I think I'll stick with the vision that I can easily clean and have zero issues with.

You know what? You couldn’t be more wrong. I have no idea what guys you are meeting or talking to but this is a very widespread thing for guys to find attractive. Personally I beg my wife to wear her glasses. It’s so hot. Feeds into some deeply seated secretary/teacher /school girl fetish.

You may know a guy, or even a couple, but believe me - most guys love this.

If you need glasses you should wear them, but having bad vision isn't exactly an attractive feature. If some guy was walking around witch crutches because he was missing a leg you probably wouldn't find that hot either. None the less, you do what needs to be done to compensate for your shortcomings.

Something I've learn when A guy truly loves you with ornwithout glasses he lives you. A woman could have a nice fitted body she may look like a model from the cover of a magazine but if he guy doesn't live her he doesn't liveher period. Whe I was younger I wasted time dressing up cute working out what happend my crush rejected me. So it doesn't matter if you wear glass when A gut loves you he loves you. It might be dumb to say it this way, but I for one don't. I absolutely love the view of a bespectacled woman. I guess it might have something to do with the nerd stereotype which might be off-putting to a number of men, but there definitely are exceptions. As long as the woman is feminine in general, she looks much more approachable to me if she wears glasses.

Personally, I used to have a friend with glasses/contacts and I always thought birds of a feather should flock together. Much like me a glasses free left handed, should only date left handed women :) I shouldn't waste my time with right handed women for dates lol or romance 💓💒

I can remember this being a slight turn off when I was younger. No rational reason that I can think of - except, maybe, the fetishism of glasses in porn. Way-back-when, a common movie trope for a women's sexual freedom was tied to glasses, among other things. To the extent of glasses being a symbol of hypersexualization. That is purely conjecture, though.
