Should I call out a married man for checking me out quite shamelessly or just ignore it?

Yesterday he was staring at me quite shamelessly and flirts with me often too.

“Flirts with me often too”, the fact that he even feels like he can flirt with you often says a lot about why he does it in the first place. You are more than welcome to call him out, but rather than risk the awkward aftermath, try setting the tone between you first. Like not engaging with his flirting (even just smiling and/or laughing about it) or keep things as platonically neutral as possible. Unless he’s an asshole with a ridiculous ego, he will stop coming onto you if he’s no longer comfortable doing it.

Um.. I've never encouraged his flirting. If I was encouraging it I wouldn't have asked this question in the first place.

I'm as neutral as one can possibly be (you mentioned smiling? I've never once smiled at him let alone laugh at his flirting) even going so far as to tell him not to touch me unnecessarily which he tries to do often due to one reason or the other.

So basically he’s harassing you? Because if you’re giving him zero engagement, telling him off and he’s still hitting on you then that isn’t cool at all and it’s something for HR.

Also I never said you encouraged his flirting, I said engaged with, and by that I mean at any capacity. Usually men will flirt if they feel as though you’re into it or they have a chance, but if you’re not saying anything and telling him off as well and he’s not listening then that is harassment.

Ugh, married men who can't keep their eyes to themselves! It depends on how comfortable you are. Ignoring it can be the easiest option, but if it makes you feel disrespected, you can definitely say something. A polite "Excuse me" with direct eye contact might do the trick. If he persists, you can be more firm. You deserve to feel comfortable, so do what empowers you most!

Just ignore it. If you call him out what will that do he obviously has no shame plus there is no law against looking even though he's being a creep!
