Was he trying to block the wind?

It was a little cold out last night. My friend made the comment that it was cold. My crush told her to stand behind her car to block the wind. I then said that it was cold and he suddenly stood very close to me in the direction that the wind was blowing. Was he trying to keep me warm?

I just thought it was funny that treated me differently lol. He could’ve told me to stand behind my friend’s car too. He even suggested for me to put my hood up. I take that as him showing that he cares.

I don't know I dont see any major difference she was behind car n maybe he thought it would be too much if u two go behind car n to send u there with her n since u were close to him he thought it would be more practical if he just blocks the wind
as for the hood up part I see that its a common thing to say whenever its cold or too windy
