Does this mean he liked me while he was in a relationship?

I was friends with a coworker who had a girlfriend who worked with us several months ago. We weren't close but he would speak to me every once in a while. Him and his girlfriend were together all the time including at work and had the same schedules. I worked with him for a little bit (maybe a few weeks) but he transferred jobs and months later (maybe a year) he transferred back. I learned he's single now and I don't know how long ago they broke up. Im sure they broke up shortly after the transfer because she recently gave birth for someone else. It's been two months since he came back and he's made it clear he is into me. I think it’s weird since he was in a relationship when I met him and out of all people he’s showing interest in me.

Girllll that is SO messy! My theory is he was probably into you even back when he had a girlfriend. Some signs that point to that:

- He made a point to talk to you at work whenever he could, even with his girl right there. That shows interest.

- The fact that he transferred jobs not long after could be because he was trying to get away from temptation and his feelings for you.

- It's way too coincidental that NOW he's suddenly single and into you out of the blue. Something was probably brewing before.

- You said they were together ALL the time at work, holding hands and stuff. Almost like he was overcompensating bc he was checkin' you out lowkey.

- That he broke up with her and she moved on so fast too... makes me think there may have been issues already on his end.

If I were you, I'd be careful. He seems into drama and mess. Don't just be a rebound! Feel him out more and see how serious he really is before getting involved sis. Some guys just thirst over what they can't have...
