I’m crushing on a guy at work and I think he likes me but I’m not 💯 %. I am a very friendly girl that has great relationships with everyone. I got the impossible done to make his life easier at work. He asked me how? I smiled and said I have a great relationship with the guy in power. Well he went in a mood. He was grumpy with our clients for the rest of the day. It was definitely over that as his mood just snapped instantly.

I failed to tell him I have a great relationship with the guy because he’s been bullied by the former person with my position so I feel the need to be super sweet to him and tell him what a great job he does to make him feel appreciated.

Hmm that's a tricky one. It's hard to say for sure if that means he actually likes you or not. But there could be some signs there maybe.

If he got all grumpy and moody after you said that about having a good relationship with the other guy, that could maybe mean he was feeling jealous or something. Like the idea of you having a good connection with someone else bothered him.

Or it's possible he took it the wrong way and thought you were flirting with the other dude or something. Some guys can be kinda sensitive about that competitive stuff without meaning to be, know what I mean?

Either way, the fact he seemed so obviously irritated right after you said it is kinda suspect. Like maybe deep down he does dig you but doesn't wanna admit it. Or he's not used to having feelings for a coworker so it threw him off.

I'd say keep doing your thing being all friendly. But also watch how he acts around you - does he find excuses to chat with you or look at you a lot? Subtle signs like that could mean he’s into you. Might be worth subtly flirting back very low key and see how he reacts to test the waters.
