Are guys usually afraid of making any female friend angry?

One guy thought he made me angry today, and he was so concerned about it. I told him it's not him and explained what I was upset about. However, later, I couldn't understand why he was so concerned so I asked and he said it's because he thought it was his fault. Do guys usually react this way? (FYI, I'm not even really his friend)

Oh, absolutely. Like most guys, I was raised to always treat women with the utmost respect and courteousness. It doesn't matter whether she has any authority over me or not -- only that as a woman, she deserves to be treated as a superior individual.

Depends on the guy. I treat my female friends pretty much the same as my male friends. I'll be more protective of them in some ways but not emotionally.

It’s not a gender thing it’s more of a personal trauma thing.
