Why is that when Im with mean co workers my energy is so low?

Like my energy is so low compared to when Im with my nice co workers I enjoy working there. Like I feel happy, energetic, optimistic Is it normal?

When Im with not nice co workers I feel low energy like I dont like working anymore

It requires a lot of your own energy to keep yourself guarded from the negativity and to keep yourself balanced and at peace. Energy is contagious and when you’re around negative energy, it takes a lot of your own energy to keep yourself “right” and to also help the negative person get “back on track” to a healthier peaceful state.

@Asker Unfortunately, that may never happen. Some people just enjoy being miserable and misery loves company. It’s all up to her if she wants to change.

Because their negative energy is affecting yours. I know it’s easier said than done but do your best to stay away from said coworker.
