I started at a new job a few months ago and there's a guy at work that I've developed a crush on.
We get along fine and he's always been kind to me. He's also offered to help me out quite a bit with how to do stuff even though this isn't his role and I haven't asked him as I'm still learning on the job and he started a few months before me. I've been very thankful when he has helped.
But recently I've noticed that sometimes he sees me from a distance and thinks I haven't noticed him when I'm walking in his direction in the hallway and then he's started to turn around and go back the other way or look at something in another direction so that his face is turned away like he hasn't seen me until I've passed rather than saying hi.
I think he's avoiding me but he's still always nice to me when we speak. I'm also friendly towards him and when I see him in passing I'll always say hi but I don't bother him so I don't know why he would be avoiding me. He also never did this in the past.
Any suggestions on why he might be doing this?
