Why would a guy kneel down right behind me when he has to tie his shoes?

He does this nearly every morning when he comes in and occasionally in the afternoons as well. Always kneeling down right behind me.. like a foot away at most and facing my direction. Our work stations are next to each other but we have ample open space around us to spread out in. It feels intentional but this person also comes across so kind and polite I can’t figure it out.

It honestly sounds like he's tryna peep down your shirt or up your skirt or something. Like why else would a grown man kneel so close behind a coworker, facing them, on the regular? Sketchy vibes.

I'd keep an eye on him and see if he does anything else that makes you uncomfortable. And maybe start tying your shirt/sweater tighter or wear skirts less often to throw him off.

Don't be afraid to shut that ish down either if you catch him peeking. Call him out loud and clear - "Excuse me, can I help you?" Make others aware so he behaves.

Stay alert sis. Guy's "kind" act might just be an act. Set some boundaries asap before it gets worse. You don't deserve to feel weird at work like that!

Fuckin weird. I just saw a tiktok of a guy kneeling behind women as if tying his shoe and recording under their dress. When the woman who captured this on video as evidence confronted him, he was acting so polite, quiet and innocent. You never know who people really are.
