The guy I was so close with used to invite me to his house always and when we were in his car I would massage his neck and he would say you always want make me go crazy. Aw that sucks, I'm sorry to hear he's acting differently now. It's never fun when someone changes how they feel about you without explanation. A few possibilities that come to mind - he may be dealing with something personal going on in his life that's distracting him, he met someone else he likes, or maybe he feels like you guys took things as far as he wanted and now wants to slow down or just be friends.

The good news is it's probably not something you necessarily did wrong. People's feelings can change over time though, as much as that may hurt. My advice would be to talk to him openly but non-confrontationally, like "hey I've noticed you seem distant lately, is everything ok between us?" And really listen without getting defensive. If he reiterates he just wants to be pals, respect that and take some space to get over the letdown. But who knows, good communication could help get back to where you were before too.
