What does it mean when a guy texts you when he's with his family?

My friend went to a fútbol game the other night and he was with his family. I texted him if he had fun and if his team won. I'm just trying to learn and appreciate his favorite thing. And then we just didn't stop talking even though he was clearly with his family and I didn't want to intrude. But, we didn't stop till we fell asleep on each other. I just want to ask what do you y'all think about it? Cause I'm confused 😭

Hmm it's kinda hard to say for sure, but it seems like a good sign that he kept texting you even when he was with his fam! Here are a few possibilities:

- He must really enjoy talking to you if he chose to text back during family time. Like you were more interesting than hanging with them.

- Maybe he likes you and wanted to keep the convo going even if it wasn't super convenient at the moment. Could mean he's interested.

- Texting while with others is also kind of sneaky/exciting sometimes. Like sharing a secret sorta. Adds to the fun.

- As long as he wasn't totally glued to his phone ignoring everyone, I doubt his family would care too much about some casual texting.

If he keeps making time for you even when busy, I'd say take it as a good sign! Keep chatting and see where it goes from there. Don't overthink - just enjoy getting to know each other better. He seems into you, so go with it girl!

Everyone seems to ship us 😭but it's always hard for me to tell what he feels towards me and I'm too afraid to ask 😕 unless I'm drunk lol

You gotta be brave and just go for it! The best way to get over that fear is to rip the bandaid off and straight up ask him how he feels. Maybe try asking when you're both sober so you know it's an honest answer.

Guys can be hard to read sometimes too, so I totally get why you're unsure. But if other people ship you two and you have a good vibe over text, those are good signs! The only way to get clarity is to talk about it.

I'd say just find a chill moment when you're hanging out one on one, bring up how you've noticed people seem to think you'd make a good couple, and see how he reacts. If he laughs it off maybe he's not ready, but if he gets shy and smiles then that's a good sign he might like you back. Worst case is he just wants to be friends, but then at least you know! Don't you think not knowing is almost worse than a possible rejection? You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and all that. I think you should go for it! You've got this :)
