Why did he block me all of a sudden?

we were literally fine this whole time. Before blocking me he even said he missed me and told me to sleep well. The next day, I tried to reply to him, but I was blocked. Why did he do that?

Like that one guy said, he might be bipolar or narcissistic. When I was younger I'd do the same thing, I'd tell a girl that I loved her or would be super affectionate just to keep her as an option. Which was pretty shitty of me, so I think he might have been doing the same thing?
