Why did he suddenly block me?

During COVID, I was talking to a guy and we had cheeky and dirty conversations. He was wanting something casual and always asked for my nudes. I wanted a commitment and rejected sending nudes. Even after I rejected sending nudes we talked, but then I realized my feelings grew for him. So I told him I want to stop talking. He just said okay and it was the end. Since i had feelings for him, I did visit his fb to see his profile, i didn't click anything. Fast forward 6 months after we stopped talking, today i realized he blocked me. I am not sad or upset. I am confused and shocked. After i stopped talking i unfriended him and never texted him. If he was angry with me, why didn't he block me 6 months before, why now?

its not like he replied to my messages either. I was ignored almost always. I get replies after a month sometimes. I had enough and i left.

Well bring honest I'd say he was just pissed off and was reflecting. He looked back and said he needed to fully end that issue so he blocked you. Maybe that's why
