Why my date suddenly ghosted me?

He is a german man who is only having vacation in Malaysia for few days. We did kissed but never had sex. We both said we both like each other a lot. He also said he is happy talking to me and just with positivity. Everything goes well but I don't why he suddenly blocked and ghosted me.

Will he still come back?

That really sucks and I have friends in Thailand that had this sort of thing happen. Mostly Australian and Canadian guys though.
