Everything was great and suddenly am ghosted?

We have first met almost 3 years ago and had a great date. Since then, despite living in different t countries we talked. Latest months we had some intense non-stop convo that ended up with him coming to my city (and it was amazing). Then I came to his and it was just pure happiness. We slept and he was my first. We both enjoyed being together and wrote each other poems and he started building plans on moving to the city I live in. The whole month after me coming back we were talking non stop with a lot of affection. Strange movements from him started when he went on a trip with friends then I saw he created an Instagram page without telling me. Started following some girls there. Meanwhile to me he still kept talking about the future plans but it became colder… he discovered I go on a trip in two months to a neighbour country of his and said he will come too. Last convo we had was about first love, in the end he coldly said he thinks it exists but before we would have a whole discussion. And now we haven’t been talking for two weeks! And he is stably online (as for a videocall) every night at midnight which he was not doing before because he goes to bed earlier. He slowly updates his Instagram. It’s very painful to me. Why do you think am i so suddenly ghosted and what would you do?
