Why won't he open my message?

So last week I saw my crush at a party and he was very drunk, he told everyone that he was going home with me and that he was going to get lucky. I didn't mind as I really like him and we've got history. His friends ended up taking him home and nothing happened. I messaged him and he replied to say he'd gone home. A few days later I saw him and he was sober I was with my friends and he chatted about general things to us and he was really nice to me. I decided to send him another message as things seem to be going well and now he won't open my message. What have I done? I'm confused! I thought things were going well so why would he now ignore me? Please help me make sense of this.

Hmm that is super weird of him to just ignore your message like that after you guys seemed to have a good interaction! A few possibilities:

- He was super embarrassed about what he said when drunk and is avoiding dealing with it. Guys can be weird about that stuff.

- Maybe one of his friends said something to him about what happened and now he feels awkward. They tend to give each other a hard time.

- It's possible he likes the attention from you in person but isn't ready for anything more serious through messages yet.

- Or he could be playing games, which would be lame but some guys do that.

I wouldn't take it personally - it's more about him working through his own stuff I think. My advice would be to act normal if you see him again. Maybe even playfully call him out like "what, you won't even open my snaps now?" to ease the tension.

If he still ignores you, then forget him sis - you deserve someone who makes you a priority! But give it some time, you never know. Hope this helps make sense of the strange dude behavior :)

It seems he might just be busy, maybe he’ll get back with you later. But if he doesn’t text you back within a day then… maybe he isn’t into you anymore.!
