What are realistic standards? That could mean anything to you versus what it means to me. Everyone has their own standards. Also what are these standards in relation to? Dating? Working? Education? Family? What? You can see that the question is so vague that it is nearly impossible to answer it. The next problem is the one I already mentioned and that is who's standards? Their own? Women's standards of them? Men's standards of themselves? Again... what standards? I think you need to give an update that gives the rest of us an idea of what you are talking about. It is just to vague to give a good answer without any sort of context to what standards you are referring to. I would get it if you put this in the dating topic or relationships but you just put it in Guy's Behavior.

Idc, doesn't affect me. But I think a lot of women would be happier if they did raise their standards to be realistic.

Just because you can't get a date doesn't mean women's standards are too high. Everyone should have the highest standards they can while still being able to find a partner. The only time a woman's standards are too high is when she can't get a man.
