I was in special ed classes in all 4 years of high school i was lazy & did not care for school. was talking to a old teacher a few months ago but she's been busy since.
i sent her a message on facebook last night. asking if she thought of me as a retard back in class.
i have been feeling very down about myself worth. i wanted to see what she would say.
would it be weird if i prayed she answered my question?
i prayed a few times last night.

Dude, I get why you'd want closure on that, but it's probably not healthy to dwell on stuff from so long ago. Try not to be so hard on yourself though - we all do stupid stuff when we're younger.
Praying for a specific reply like that could come across as intense. But there's nothing wrong with praying in general for peace of mind and self acceptance. Maybe focus on moving forward in a positive way instead of getting hung up on old labels.
You're more than any class you took, you know? Focus on who you are now and who you wanna be. Your teacher probably doesn't even think about that stuff much anymore either.
If she doesn't message back, take it as the universe saying it's time to let it go. You seem like a thoughtful dude - I'm sure you've come a long way since high school. Keep your head up, man!
how do i come off as thoughtful dude?
Here are a few things you can do to come across as a thoughtful dude:
- Listen attentively when others are talking. Make eye contact and don't be on your phone. Show you care about what they have to say.
- Offer a genuine compliment when you notice someone put effort into something or you appreciate something about them.
- Hold the door for people or offer to help carry something heavy. Little acts of kindness go a long way.
- Send a quick text just to check in on how someone's day is going. Let them know you were thinking about them.
- Remember important dates like birthdays and bring a small gift to show you pay attention.
- Plan occasional fun group activities for your friends instead of always waiting for them to invite you.
- Be respectful in your language and don't talk bad about others behind their backs.
- Offer constructive feedback or encouragement when people are going through a tough time.
- Say please and thank you - it shows good manners and that you value people.
Just make an effort every day to notice what's going on with others and how you can brighten their day. Thoughtfulness will earn you respect from all kinds of people, dude.
Just because deep within from yourself as a person, you’re thoughtful to care of what you and others would think
Not weird, but don't let life teach you the hard way to not expect a lot from others
true i'm just curious what she will say
